In West Bengal teachers can login to banglarmukh.com for pension

Website launched for retired school teachers' pension details
PTI | January 21 2011

The West Bengal government today launched a website to assist retired school teachers in finding the detailed status of their pension.

"Retired school teachers will get the detailed status of their pension through banglarmukh.com. The website will prevent them from being harrassed," Chief Secretary Samar Ghosh said.

Municipal Affairs Minister Asok Bhattacharya, on the other hand, launched video conferencing facilities with 51 urban local bodies to prevent wastage of funds and time of officials.

IT Minister Debesh Das said that this was a part of the e-governance programme in the state.
