AP govt to fill 8390 posts in revenue dept: Minister

Steps being taken to eliminate bogus pattadars from becoming beneficiaries

Andhra Pradesh state revenue minister N Raghuveera Reddy announced on Tuesday that over 8390 posts lying vacant in the department will be filled soon.

Reddy said through video conferencing here said, "To further strengthen the revenue department from gross root level, we are taking steps to fill 8,390 posts which are lying vacant in the department. Over 6000 posts of revenue assistant, tashildars and deputy tashildar will also be filled".

He said that steps are being taken to eliminate bogus pattadars from becoming beneficiaries of the pass books meant for farmers in the state.
