Cong party is pvt limited co of Gandhi family : Gadkari

Opinion not one over Vadra's entry into politics: Gadkari

Taking a dig at Priyanka Gandhi's husband Robert Vadra for indicating he was not averse to joining politics, BJP President Nitin Gadkari on Friday said there seems to be a difference of opinion over his entry.

"The Congress party is a private limited company of the Gandhi family. There seems to be some difference of opinion (over Vadra's entry into politics)," Gadkari told reporters here in reply to a question.

"Ask Priyanka ji that Robert Vadra wants to join politics, but she says he would not join," the BJP chief remarked.

Asked who were the young faces BJP was projecting in its UP campaign, Gadkari answered in a lighter vein making a veiled reference to a weight loss surgery he underwent recently, "Am I not a yuva (youth)? People tell me that now I look ten years younger."

On campaign trail in Amethi recently Vadra indicated he was not averse to joining politics, saying he will fight elections if people desired.

However, Priyanka sought to downplay her businessman husband's comments by suggesting he had no intention of taking up politics.
