Ali Anwar Ansari, a Rajya Sabha MP from Bihar, talks about development in Bihar in this Governance Now video. He says the state has seen development on all fronts: roads have been constructed in remote areas, hospitals have come up, and the law and order situation has improved and therefore he is sure people of Bihar will bring his party, JD(U), back to power in the upcoming assembly elections.

He says chief minister Nitish Kumar has been very supportive of his organisation that works for the marginalised Muslims in the state. The MP says the state government has also been keen to open a Muslim university, on the lines of the Aligarh Muslim University, that will cater to the minority community of the state.
