MP launches water conservation campaign in jails
It has been successfully launched in seven jails so far

BJP MP Avinash Rai Khanna from Hoshiarpur district in Punjab, said on Wednesday the he would spent his MPLAD funds to launch a water conservation campaign in all jails across the state.
Khanna, who visited the district jail and exhorted inmates to be part of the campaign, claimed that so far it was successfully launched in seven jails in the state.
He said 84 blocks were declared as black zones in Punjab and in the 2010 survey, 11,849 villages were found adversely affected due to depleting underground water.
