Twelve SP candidates announced for Uttar Pradesh polls

assembly elections in UP are due next year

Samajwadi Party on Monday announced candidates for 12 assembly segments for the forthcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections due next year.

Sujat Alam and Mukesh Sharma have been declared party candidate from Buladshahr and Shikarpur segments in Bulandshahr district, a party spokesman said here.

Sanjay Sharma has been nominated from Maat, while Raj Kumar Nat would contest from Baldev seat in Mathura district, he said.

Naval Kishore Shivhare would be party candidate from Banda seat, whereas Ramharsh Yadav and Rajesh Tiwari has been named from Nanpara and Mahsi respectively.

Other candidates include Sudhakar Singh from Ghosi, Raj Narain Bind from Badlapur, Javed Ansari from Jaunpur, Vinod Singh from Mugra Badshahpur and Sachendra Tripathi from Zafrabad.

The party has replaced Bansbahadur and named Abhay Narain Patel as its candidate from Sangdi seat.
