But, since the last few years, the crime graph is showing a downward trend. kidnapping and extortion, that inspired a mainstream Hindi movie, are not talked about as much as they were five years back. In fact, the talk now centres around how law and order in Bihar is improving, how crime and politics are not words to be used interchangably - as the norm was during the previous regime.
