Protest held against police inaction in teacher assault case
The victim was beaten up by a class XI girl student's father and his men for showing his inability to qualify her in the internal exams

Teachers of a public school in Modinagar staged a protest on Tuesday against the police inaction over the assault of their colleague in the school premises.
A physics teacher, who is admitted a city hospital here, was assaulted by a student's father and six-seven persons on Friday in the school premises.
According to chairman of TRM Public School Vinod Maheshwari, the father of a girl student forced the teacher to qualify her daughter in Class XI internal exams but teacher expressed his inability.
When the teacher refused, the father of the student along with six-seven persons assaulted the teacher when he was to leave the school.
Teachers demanded the transfer of the police officer in-charge for not arresting the men who assaulted their colleague.
All the teachers will meet district magistrate for action against the accused persons and transfer of the police officer with immediate effect, Director of school Nirmal Dubey said.
