J&K govt sanctions Rs 7.56 cr for judicial infrastructure
Upgrading the judicial infrastructure was the top priority of the state government: law minister
The Jammu and Kashmir government has sanctioned an amount of Rs 7.56 crore for upgrading the judicial infrastructure in the state.
The information was given at a high level meeting chaired by state law minister Ali Mohammad Sagar, here today.
The amount will be spent on the construction of Principal and sessions judge court complex at Baramulla, munsif court at Pampore and district courts at Udhampur and Doda.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that upgrading the judicial infrastructure was the top priority of the state government as it would go a long way in providing speedy and time bound justice to the people.
"We have already undertaken the construction of several district court complexes which are nearing completion," he said.
