Sudhir Rao

Sudhir Rao is a graduate of the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (1985). He also completed a Master’s degree in Rural Development Planning from the University of East Anglia, UK (1994) and attended a short-term programme on strategic perspectives in non-profit management at the Harvard Business School (July 1999). He has worked with various grassroots and philanthropic organizations such as Gujarat Dairy, Ahmedabad (1985), SEWA, Jabalpur (1985-90), OXFAM Bridge, New Delhi (1990-1991), Aga Khan Foundation, New Delhi (1991- 96) and the Sir Ratan Tata Trust, Mumbai (1996-2001). He worked as an independent consultant based first at Bhopal and later at New Delhi (2001-2006). He is now a freelance writer based at Canacona, Goa.
