At the Gazipur land fill, waste is treasure - for ragpickers. They toil amidst the mountains of perilous, stinking, sometimes toxic waste to earn enough to live from one day to the other. Men, women, children, the old, the young do not mind the stench, the rotting filth or the strays or the scavenging birds. For them, waste is bread.
