The BJP on Friday took out a protest march in the city against the report of the Centre's interlocutors on Jammu and Kashmir, alleging that it was a deliberate attempt by the Congress-led UPA government to deny people of Jammu their rightful demands.

"They have not mentioned about the delimitation, which was a major issue. Jammu in every respect is a bigger province than Kashmir, and should get the representation accordingly, but it is unfortunate that the region continues to be dominated by Kashmir," party's state vice president Chander Prakash Ganga said.

"They are also silent about the status of refugees, who migrated to this side of the border during partition, they have continued to neglect the Jammu province. This entire process seems to be an exercise to woo the separatists and anti-national elements and we totally reject this report," he said.

He added, "We will fight till our last breathe against this report. It is dangerous for the integrity of our nation and we will not allow the government to implement the recommendations at any cost."

The state vice president also informed that once its leaders are back from the national working committee meeting in Mumbai they will decide on how this issue will be taken forward in the state.

The Shiv Sena (Hindustan) also registered a protest against the report and burnt the effigy of the UPA government.

"They talk about article 370, they also mention that AFSPA should be revoked, they say we should bring separatists, militants and Pakistan to one table to discuss the Kashmir issue, they seem to be toeing the separatist line," state president Rajesh Kesri

alleged.

Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party had yesterday said the report was an "exercise in futility", while the Panun Kashmi rejected it, saying the work was a "temporary provision with specific age".
