Arun C. Mehta, a professor at National Univeristy of Education Policy and Administration (NUEPA) called for the government to revaluate its strategy on ICT-enabled education at the National Conference on e-Governance in Jaipur last week. He saids that the number of schools with computers was shockingly low in the country even while there were almost no trained instructors for imparting ICT-enabled education in scholls across the country. He als said that there that there is an urgent need to have a separate cadre of ICT-trained instructors.
