MK Alagiri gets a Tamil speaking IAS officer

In a surprise move, PMO cheered up DMK by agreeing to appoint an officer of DMK choice as secretary fertiliser.

M K Alagiri union minister of fertiliser on Tuesday got his choice of Ajay Bhattacharya a Tamil speaking IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre as secretary fertiliser.

The present fertiliser secretary Sutanu Behuria wanted to be shifted out as he never wanted to serve a DMK minister as Sutanu brother is languishing in Tihar Jail since Febraury 2011 without any ryhme or reason, claimed Sutanu.

MK Alagiri in his two years tenure had Atul Chaturvedi, S Krishnan Sutanu Behuria and now Ajay Bhattacharya.

Sutanu Behuria is now appointed as secretary, National Disaster Manangement Authority.
