Lawyers today held demonstrations in Jammu and Kashmir court complex here as their strike against transfer of land registration work from judiciary to revenue department entered 13th consecutive day today.
Shouting anti-government slogans, over 150 lawyers led by Jammu Bar Association president B S Salathia assembled at the court complex and demanded roll back of the government decision.
"Lawyers have decided to intensify strike as the state government has taken no step to scrap the new order...The government has totally ignored the strike...no representative from their side has come forward for talks over the issue," Salathia told reporters here.
