Police lathicharge protesting students in Karimnagar

City police today lathicharged students protesting against the rules of fee reimbursement at the Collectorate here, police said.
Students from various institutions had staged a dharna in front of the district Collectorate office protesting against the rules of fee reimbursement here, they said.
However, when they tried to enter into the Collectorate complex forcibly, police lathicharged resulting in injuries to some students, police said.
36 students were arrested and later released on bail, police said.
Meanwhile, student unions alleged that police lathicharged the students without any reason.
