26/11 assembly panel not met even once

Panel was to look into all aspects of Ram Pradhan report

Flaying Maharashtra government for its 'laidback' approach on security, Leader of Opposition Eknath Khadse said on Monday that the panel set up to study "all aspects" of the Pradhan committee's 26/11 report, had not met even once.

Maharashtra government had in December tabled in the state assembly the Ram Pradhan committee report on 26/11 Mumbai attacks and informed the house that a 16-member panel, comprising the chief minister, will study all aspects of the report including its "leakage" in media.

"The study panel has not met even once," Khadse told reporters. "This just shows the state government's laidback approach to deal with flaws in security apparatus, highlighted by the Pune blast," he said.
