It is high time the northeast gets a separate time zone, says C.M Chang of the Nagaland People's Front, who represents Nagaland constituency in Lok Sabha.

In this GN Talk video clip, he says India should adopt more than one time zone. He feels there should be at least three time zones in the country – for western India, central India and the northeastern India. He says that the working hours should be the same across the country but the working timings should be left to the state governments to decide. He adds that people should realise the importance of the time and we should change the way we function since independence.
