Do you think the country faces a leadership crisis at the moment?

GN Bureau | June 14 2012

Press, people, industry and of course the opposition are all taking about the government’s ‘policy paralysis’. Azim Premji and NR Narayana Murthy are disappointed with the current state of affairs of the crumbling Indian economy. Premji said that India was working without a leader. Even the S&P rating of India presents a gloomy picture. While Pranab Mukherjee is hopeful of a turnaround in the country's growth prospects, his own Raisina Hill hopes were dashed by the Mamata Banerjee-Mulayam Singh Yadav combine which put forth the PM’s name for presidentship. That again means no-confidence in Manmohan Singh’s leadership.
