e-Gov software to keep check on Karnataka SDCD

Application to be launched on November 1

The Karnataka state druc controls department has decided to introduce e-governance in their system to make day-to-day activities more convenient, transparent and bring in more accountability. The department will launch software application on November 1 which has been adopted by the Gujarat FDCA and has been modified as poer requirements.

The software will helps track substandard drugs with a view to ensure safety of consumers/patients. This software was internally developed with the help of National Informatics Centre (NIC) of Gujarat and initiated by the Gujarat FDCA under its e-governance programme.
