FundsIndia launches programme for cos to implement NPS

The online programe will be offered in partnership with IL&FS Securities Services Private Ltd

FundsIndia, an online value-added financial services platform, has launched a programme to facilitate companies to implement the National Pension System (NPS).

The programe will be offered in partnership with IL&FS Securities Services Private Ltd (ISSL), Co-Founder and CEO of FundsIndia C R Chandrasekar said.

FundsIndia is promoted by Chennai-based Wealth India Financial Services.

The NPS gives the dual benefit of tax-saving and low-cost retirement investment.

The NPS, an effort of the government towards sustainable solutions to provide retirement income, was launched in January 2004 for government employees.

Later in April 2009, NPS was made available to every citizen on a voluntary basis.
