Haryana Government has directed all Heads of Departments, Deputy Commissioners and Chief Executives of boards, corporations, agencies and authorities to take steps to counter cyber-terrorism.

A spokesman of the Information Technology Department said here today that they had been asked to identify critical information assets and implement department's information security policy to secure these.

They have also asked to prepare a Crisis Management Plan outlining roles and responsibilities of organisational stakeholders and coordination process.

He said the Heads of Departments have also been asked to identity a member of senior management as a Chief Information Security Officer.
