IGNOU to offer courses in ICT and electronics

University signed an MoU with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Pune; courses to be offered at various C-DAC centres

IGNOU will offer post-graduate degree programs in advanced information and communication technology and electronics (ICTE).

The university has signed a MoU with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Pune, in this regard and the courses will be offered at the various C-DAC centres, an IGNOU release said.

"The objective of this MoU is to develop full/flexi time diploma, M Tech degree programme and research programmes leading to PhD and MS by research of IGNOU at C-DAC centres," it said.

While the M.Tech programmes on Microelectronics, Cyber Forensic and VLSI system are ready for launch, programmes on high performance computing, software technologies and enterprise architecture are still in the pipeline, the release said.
