New Passport Seva Kendra to be opened in Amritsar

The facilitation centre is being opened under the Passport Seva Project with technical support being provided by TCS

A new Passport Seva Kendra, which will serve applicants of eight districts, will be inaugurated on October 24 in Amritsar.

The centre will cover the districts of Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Faridkot, Shri Muktsar Sahib, Fazilka and Pathankot, an official release said.

Muktesh K Pardeshi, Chief Passport Officer, Ministry of External Affairs will inaugurate the centre, it said.

The facilitation centre is being opened under the Passport Seva Project with technical support being provided by Tata Consultancy Services, it added.
