A voter in Faziabad district can now find the exact location of his polling booth with just a click of the mouse, thanks to an initiative by the local administration which has plotted all booths on Google map and has connected the electorates list to it.

"The voters list is attached along with the polling booths therefore, any voter can find his name by using the search option," Faizabad district magistrate and district election officer M P Agrawal told reporters here.

All information is available on faizabad.nic.in, he said.

"We have registered 1,10,000 new voters in just completed voter registration drive and again we are going to start a week's drive from January 2 to enroll new voters who were left out in our previous drive," Agrawal said.
