Reeleezee launches online accounting software

Software designed for cellphones too; will help SMEs

Online accounting software company Reeleezee on Monday announced launch of its services in India.

"With mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) becoming just as important as desktops, launch of our web-based accounting services will cater to the needs of SMEs in India," Wilko Storks, co-founder of Reeleezee told reporters.

"The product (automated bookkeeping) is offered under a scalable cloud solution that is accessible from anywhere, anytime. SMEs can do accounting online from anywhere," he said.

"It is designed to meet the requirements of handling all aspects of taxation in India, it supports automatic recording in the right category. It has a separate feature for the accountants," Stork said.

The Dutch company shall support its product, customised for the Indian market, from Ahmadabad, he said.

According to company, manual bookkeeping practises by SMEs in India are expected to get fully automated over the next 5-10 years.

The service is available on a monthly billing basis, with introductory offer price of Rs 233 per month.

The company has offices in Turkey and Netherlands, besides in Ahmadabad. It serves over 80,000 users worldwide.

Reeleezee is provider of online book keeping, invoices and time sheets for starters, own-account workers, Small Medium Businesses and their accountants.
