Three cyber police stations would be set up in Jammu and Kashmir to deal with the threat of cyber crime, Director General of Police Kuldeep Khoda said on Tuesday.
The cyber police stations would be set up at Srinagar, Jammu and Crime Headquarters in the state, Khoda said while chairing a high-level meeting here.
The police stations which would start functioning from December 15, he added.
The meeting was convened to discuss crime situation in the state and steps taken to control them.
He said prosecuting officers should be posted in courts across the state to expedite conviction rate of criminals.
