The Mahakumbh that began on January 13, a day before Makarsakranti, concluded on February 26, the holy occason of MahaShivaratri. This time, the once-in-12-years event has broken all records of participation as millions from across the country and around the world came to Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh to take a holy dip.
