BHEL commissions 3MW solar plant in Dadra & Nagar Haveli

 Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited has commissioned a three Mega Watt solar photo voltaic power plant in Dadra and Nagar Haveli. 

BHEL executed this project on a turnkey basis for Dadra and Nagar Haveli power distribution corporation limited at Velugam.
 
It is presently executing solar projects of about 180 MW for customers.
 
The Maharatna enterprise manufactures solar cells and modules. Space grade solar panels using high efficiency cells and space grade battery panels are manufactured at its Electronics System Division in Bengaluru.
 
BHEL is one of the few companies in India whose solar business is backed by an R&D team at the company’s Amorphous Silicon Solar Cell Plant (ASSCP) in Gurugram.
