Posts of directors, CMDs lie vacant in CPSEs

Vacant posts are manned by assigning additional charge so that regular functioning of CPSE concerned is not impacted.

 As many as 13 board-level posts in various Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) are lying vacant since May, 2014, minister of state for heavy industries and public enterprises Babul Supriyo said in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha.

He added that filling up of board level posts in CPSEs is a continuous process and the vacant posts are manned by assigning additional charge so that regular functioning of CPSE concerned is not impacted.
