India International Trade Fair 2013, inaugurated on Friday at Pragati  Maidan, New Delhi, offers several enhanced facilities for the Indian and overseas visitors, especially a conductive environment for meaningful business generation in different pavilions.

For the convenience and facilitation of the overseas visitors and exhibitors, an International Business Visitors Lounge (IBVL) has been functioning at Gate No. 1, Bhairon Marg. The facilitation services at the Lounge are available to the overseas trade delegations, visiting the fair under the aegis of trade associations and other recognized nodal business groups, on the recommendation of their respective Missions in India or the Indian Missions in their respective countries. The facilities at IBVL include registration, escorted visits to various Halls, foreign exchange counters and cyber services.

For hassle-free visits of VVIPs and overseas business delegation and further diluting traffic congestion at Gate No.3, Mathura Road, this year, the Protocol has been functioning at IBVL, Bhairon Road.

Facilities are also available for all business visitors to the fair at Gate Nos. 1, 2, 7 and 10 till November 18, 2013.  Visitors entering the fair with business entry tickets may come to the Centre located at any of these gates and collect a free kit comprising list of exhibitors, map of Pragati Maidan etc. on producing their business card.

One of the unique features of IITF 2013 is the Innovation Pavilion outside Hall No.7H which showcases young talents in business entrepreneurship and more economically viable new ideas. Prestigious institutions lime the Lovely Professional University of Phagwara (Punjab), who are giving a platform for their students who have created a driverless car, Hexia Copter, highbred cryogen engine, solar car etc.  Alongside are Kritika Poly Corporation (of IIT-BHU) that are putting up non-deshaping Wax, thermal crystallization and oil binding.  While Smart groupl in the Innovation Pavilion are showcasing unique safety mobile applications, panic button for auto communication, the BLUDO are presenting a medium to bring entertainment to television from the mobile.  The CC Tea company is launching 100% organic and natural Caffeine.

In continuation of the improvements introduced by ITPO over the last two years, we have launched an extraordinary mobile application by which a prospective visitor can access details of exhibitors, products on display, location details, happening, events in the fair complex, which is major initiative.

Webcast of all programmes at Hamsadhawani on Android, iOS, Blackberry etc. accessible throughout the world. LED screens have been put up at strategic locations in the fair ground, showcasing the cultural, scientific and economic strengths of India.
