BJP MLAs won't vote for RS candidate in J'khand

Anshuman Mishra had hit out at Advani without naming him

BJP MLAs have decided not to vote for Anshuman Mishra for the Rajya Sabha fillowing his statements against LK Advani and Yashwant Sinha. The party-backed independent candidate had hit out at Advani without naming him. He said, "BJP leaders who are 85 years old and are admirers of Jinnah should think of their retirement now."

Mishra also faced strong resistance from within the BJP with former finance minister Yashwant Sinha alleging that the party has put a price tag on its MLAs, which forced the BJP leadership to reconsider its decision to support NRI's aspirations for a Rajya Sabha seat from Jharkhand.
