Government enjoys stability with "good" support from outside and there should be no "wavering" on that, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal said on Friday.

"We have good stability, there is good support from outside also. There is no question on anyone wavering on that," he told reporters when asked whether government was sure of its numbers in Parliament.

On Trinamool Congress terming the Union budget as nothing more than "tolerable", Bansal said different people have different views and they are entitled to look at it from "different angles".

"It's always ones own opinion when you talk of this.

Different people have different views. They can look it from different angles...I don't know somebody calls it a tolerable budget...Many people would expect many things from it. The FM himself said that you have to undertake an operation which may be a little painful but in the long run it is good," he said.

He also scoffed at suggestions that he was in Lucknow with senior Congress leader Motilal Vohra to muster SP's support for UPA.

"Congress president (Sonia Gandhi) wanted to go herself (to attend Akhilesh Yadav's swearing in ceremony) but could not. She had sent a personal letter to Mulayam Singh Yadav congratulating him for the swearing in of Akhilesh as the CM....that was the only purpose," he said.
