Hindu Mahasabha writes to CJI on Ayodhya verdict

Requests to consider the organisation's views on the division of the disputed land

Akhil bharatiya hindu mahasabha today said it has written a letter to the Chief Justice of India expressing its dissatisfaction over the Allahabad high court's verdict on the Ayodhya title suit.

The CJI has been requested through a letter to consider the organisation's views on the division of the disputed land into three parts, ABHM national spokesperson Jangbahadur Kshatriya said in a statement.

He claimed that the judgement had adversely affected the sentiments of 85 per cent population of the country, and if a mosque and a temple were constructed next to each other it would cause communal tension between the two communities.

The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad high court had pronounced the verdict in the 60-year-old Ramjanmbhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit on September 30.

The Hindu mahasabha was one of the key parties to the Ayodhya title suit.
