Suspended chairman is likely to be produced ta special court

A special court here today posted the hearing of CBI's petition seeking police custody of S N Sharma, the suspended chairman of the Railway Recruitment Board (Mumbai), and others involved in the alleged multi-crore recruitment scam to July 2.

The court also posted the hearing of the bail applications filed by the accused to July 6.

CBI, after arresting Sharma and G Sethi, the senior divisional personnel officer at Raipur, sought 10-day custody of the duo for interrogation.

The CBI, on June 19, arrested eight persons, including Vivek Bhardwaj Sharma, son of Sharma, A K Jagannatham, the then ADRM in Raipur and his son Srujan in connection with a multi-crore Railway recruitment scam.
