The three Yadavs continue to play truant.

Right from the start of today's proceedings, JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav, SP chief Mulayam Singh and RJD chief Lalu Prasad led the agitation inside Lok Sabha against the womens reservation bill. This led to repeated adjournments and finally, the house was adjourned for the day without transacting any business. They also protested against suspension of seven unruly members in Rajya Sabha and wanted this to be revoked.

They shouted slogans against Speaker Meira Kumar, which were later expunged as they were unparliamentary.

Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee tried to restore order and bon homie and advised the Yadavs to meet the spkeaer to sort out the matter. But they refused.

The Congress did succeed to win over Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee though. She told reporters that she wasn't opposed to the bill but her party colleagues were kiffed because they were not consulted in the bill.
