Snow capped hills, lush greenery and idyllic meadows with an occasional tourist town or two: that is the impression of Himachal Pradesh most of us have and with that also the impression that it is yet to catch up with the rest of the country in putting in place the basic infrastructure. But when it comes to infotech –based governance, this state is ahead of most others, if not all. Special Correspondent Brajesh Kumar travelled to far flung areas in Himachal and to his surprise found it is indeed doing well on e-governance front.
