REC Foundation, the CSR arm of REC Limited, has partnered with Matrix Society for Social Services (MASS) to provide job-oriented skill-development training to women in 100 self help groups in Mewat.
As per the project, doorstep training in stitching, tailoring, embroidery, food processing, beauty and wellness will be provided to 1000 women enabling them to gain financial independence and raise their family income.
The agreement committing financial assistance of Rs 77 lakh from REC to MASS was inked on May 7, 2018.
