BDL clocks turnover of Rs 4,886.62 crore

The defence PSU pays a dividend of Rs 157.22 crore to the government

 Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a defence PSU, has clocked a turnover of Rs 4,886.62 crore for 2016-17 fiscal, registering a growth of 17.46 percent over the previous year.

A dividend of Rs 157.22 crore of the said fiscal was also paid to the ministry of defence.
 
The dividend paid by the BDL works out to 128.67 percent of the paid up capital. The enterprise has bought back 25 percent of its shares of Rs 450.54 crore.
