Delhi government to insert more advertisements in Urdu Newspapers

The Delhi government is keen to provide computers in Madarsas to enhance employment opportunities for students, chief minister Sheila Dikshit said here on Thursday. Dikshit, while addressing an Urdu Editor’s conference, said that the Urdu has been associated with glory of Delhi and to continuously monitor the promotion activities of the language a committee will soon be constituted. Dikshit also said that the government plans to insert more advertisements in Urdu Newspapers and revising advertising rates and will consider to organize workshop and training courses for Urdu Journalists. Dikshit has also instructed to revive organizing of Urdu Book Fair.
