Union minister of finance Pranab Mukherjee shared a 'policy decision on Telangana" to allies of UPA2 - DMK, Trinamool and NCP.

Congress core committee on Monday decided on Telangana, a crucial and sensitive political issue, and authorised Pranab Mukherjee to 'convey the decision of core committee-to leaders of DMK, National Congress and Trinamool Congress in confidence shared the draft statement on Telangana to be officially made by UPA2 Govt.

Pranab Mukherjee on Monday called T R Baalu DMK leader and shown the draft statement on Telangana. On Tuesday Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee contacted Sharad Pawar
to convey the decision of Core Committee on Telangana. In all probabilities on Wednesday Pranab Mukherjee is expected to speak to Mamata Banerjee about Telangana.
