Housing scheme 2010: Many flats not ready

Though the DDA information brochure claims that the flats under the housing scheme 2010 are ready for possession, work on many flats is still on.

Take the case of Vasant Kunj. While a sample flat is ready in Vasant Kunj, furnishing on 1285 one bedroom flats, 548 two bedroom flats and 876 three bedroom flats in the area is incomplete.

Almost 50 percent work is pending in three bedroom flats (947) in Dwarka sector 18 B and 760 flats in sector 14. One bedroom flats (1220) in sector 3 are yet to get furnished.


Three bedroom flats (336) located in Mukherjee Nagar are getting finishing touches.

Around 20 percent work remains to be done in 144 three bedroom flats in Motia Khan.

DDA claims that work on flats in Vasant Kunj D-6, Dwarka sector 18- B, Rohini sector 29 and Dwarka sector 14 is in last stage.
