Business solutions provider Aditya Birla Minacs has been appointed as a value-added reseller for Epicor Software Corporation's next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions in India and the Middle East.

"We are delighted to appoint Minacs as a value-added reseller for the Middle East and India," Epicor Vice-President (Sales) Basil Daniells said.

"Their experience in the market, wide geographical coverage and excellent customer service will be a valuable asset for new Epicor customers in the Middle East and India.

"The partnership means that coupled with Epicor's next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, customers will be ready to take advantage of new business opportunities and together we can offer them extensive support for growing their enterprises across the region," he said.

Epicor's service-oriented architecture (SOA) and built-in business performance management (BPM) capabilities offer customers in the region a solution that can help them grow their businesses.

Aditya Birla Minacs Chief Executive Officer Deepak Patel said the partnership is based on the belief that enterprises will increasingly focus on their 'core' and depend on an ecosystem of specialised partners to deliver the rest of their value chains.

"Our aim is to expand our capabilities as a specialised partner to our clients, by building and leveraging deep domain and process expertise and helping clients realise the full potential from their investments. Epicor's service-oriented architecture (SOA) and built-in business performance management (BPM) capabilities enable Minacs to offer customers a flexible solution that can help them grow their businesses," Patel said.
