California Software appoints new chairman

Thomas Kevin Reily will be the new chairman of the board.

IT service company California Software (Calsoft) on Monday announced appointment of Thomas Kevin Reily as new chairman of the board in place of Clyde Michael Bandy.

Clyde Michael Bandy resigned as director and chairman of the company with effect from April 25 and Reily has been appointed as additional director on the board with effect from May 6, said Calsoft in an information filed at BSE.

"Thomas Kevin Reily will be the Chairman of the board," it added.

The spokesperson of of the company could not be reached for additional details on this development in the company.

The consolidated net profit and total income of the company had been declining from some time.

The company posted net loss of over Rs 11.01 crore in the third quarter ended on December 31, 2010. The scrip of Calsoft touched 52-week low of Rs 28 on the BSE on March 31, 2011.

However, its share closed at Rs 31.30, up by 2.45 per cent on the BSE today.
