Defiance Technologies ties up with Epicor Software Corpn

To provide business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and service organisations.

Hinduja Group company Defiance Technologies on Wednesday announced a tie-up with US-based Epicor Software Corporation to provide business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and service organisations.

Defiance Technologies Managing Director and CEO Subu D Subramanian said its Rs five crore Centre of Excellence at Guindy here, with an initial seating capacity of 30, would adapt to the Epicor 9 application provided by Epicor Software Corporation to India-specific functionalities.

He said the Centre would have about 30 certified consultants fully trained by Epicor Corporation. Focus areas will initally be in manufacturing and automobile engineering," he told PTI.

Claiming that the service offered by Epicor 9 would be of high quality that would be available to Indian companies at an "affordable cost", he said this product would help companies save "significantly", compared to services offered by other companies.
