DHBVN registers over 12000 complaints in fortnight

After restoration of supply, the complaint staff would get a confirmation from the complainant, if he is satisfied with the service over the phone

Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) on Monday said 12,654 complaints related to power supply were received at its call centre during the last fortnight. While stating the new system, a spokesperson of the DHBVN said on an average 791 complaints were received daily during the fortnight. The highest number of 1,513 complaints were received on July 5, on dedicated phone numbers. The phone numbers have been activated in the entire area of DHBVN comprising districts Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Bhiwani, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Gurgaon, Mewat, Palwal and Faridabad. He added that the attendant tell the reason of power cut or failure, whether it is due to load shedding or break down, and at what time power is likely to be restored in a courteous way. In case the supply failure is due to local fault, complaint are registered and fed in computer. The complaint staff at concerned complaint centre or in the field will be asked to attend the complaint. After restoration of supply, the complaint staff would get a confirmation from the complainant, if he is satisfied with the service over the phone.
