Gehlot for adequate expertise to deal with cyber crimes

Cases related to cyber crime are rising rapidly, making it essential for an effective mechanism to deal with them, said Gehlot

Expressing concern over rising cases of cyber crime, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Saturday said there is need for getting adequate expertise to investigate such cases.

Speaking at the passing out parade of 44th batch of Rajasthan Police Service here, he said cases related to cyber crime are rising rapidly, making it essential for an effective mechanism to deal with them.

"Expertise in solving cyber crime by involving highly scientific methods is necessary because cases of cyber crime are growing day by day," Gehlot said adding the government is is committed to fulfil all requirements of the police in this regard and several steps have already been taken for the purpose.

The Chief Minister also called for improving the negative image of the police among common people to win their confidence.
