Haryana government is planning for adoption of e-governance systems to provide for e-filing of various returns relating to commercial taxes and labour in order to facilitate transparency and speed, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said today.

The Chief Minister, who was speaking on the occasion of inauguration of HCL Tech Hub at Manesar in Gurgaon district, said the government would soon come out with a comprehensive investment-cum-industrial policy for which the consultative process with the stakeholders had already been completed.

The earlier resettlement and rehabilitation policy of Haryana government has been further revised and improved last week.

Hooda said the state government has taken the requisite initiatives to provide comfort to the IT industry through creation of "plug in and play" and "walk to work" kind of office environment.

During the year 2009-10, Haryana had software exports of Rs 23,000 crore, he said adding the state government was now taking steps to consolidate them.
