HP launches on-site service pack starting Rs 4,000

Notebook Care service pack will provide unlimited parts and labour support

Computer maker Hewlett-Packard (HP) today announced a service pack priced between Rs 4,000 and Rs 4,800, which will provide on-site and extended warranty to its customers of notebook across India.

"The introduction of HP Service Care Pack is in line with our commitment to the Indian PC market. We consider services such as Care Packs to be an important part of our effort to enhance the customer experience and provide the best after sales support anywhere, anytime," Vinay Awasthi, Senior Director, Product Category, HP PSG India said in a statement.

The Consumer Notebook Care service pack will provide unlimited parts and labour support for all HP notebooks across India and will also extend the standard one-year warranty to three years across all class of retail notebooks, HP said.

"Any one whose HP notebook is within warranty period can opt for this pack," Awasthi said.

This partnership gives us an opportunity to extend the deployment of our CRM for Financial Services solution to a broad range of banks and financial services companies," iPipeline EVP (AMS and CRM) Andrea Evans said.
