Japanese software firm opens shop in Kerala park

Yelm Infotech Private ltd. will carry its mobile application development at Technopark in Thiruvananthpuram.

With an aim to tap India's growing software market, a Japanese company has commneced its operations in Kerala's IT campus Technopark in Thiruvanathpuram.

The officials of 'Yelm Infotech Private Ltd', a leading software firm specialising in web services of flash animations, gaming software and mobile applications, signed pact with their Technopark counterparts on Tuesday.

The company's mobile application development will be carried out in Technopark office here while its multimedia animation work will be outsource from Japan, Yelm sources said.

Yelm Infotech has partnership contracts with Fujyama Inc and Synca Technologies who sell their services and solutions to corporates in Japan.

At present, the company is developing three websites.

One of them is a gaming software, set to be launched soon, and the other two sites contain iOS and Blackberry projects.

"Our core aim is to have a base in India which will enable us to tap the Indian market for software professionals and undertake software development and other services for domestic and international clients at low cost and contribute to local and global economic growth," said 'Yelm' director Ryo Haishima.
